You are unable to access the Sonocaddie V300 software on Mac computer as it is only compatible to Windows OS only. 
The Sonocaddie memberships are unable to transfer among different models.

Q5. I lost the V300 Disc. How do I download the software?

Q6. V300 software cannot be displayed completely on the computer screen?
(1) Please follow the steps to set the computer monitor dpi at 96 dpi: Go to Control penal> Monitor setting> Resolution> Advance setting> General> DPI setting> 96 dpi to adjust your settings.
(2) In windows XP under Accessibility Option/Display make sure the Use High Contrast box us unchecked. When you do this you can install a good version of V300's program. Go to the Start menu on your computer. Select Control Panel. Open the Accessibility Options panel. Click the Display tab. If the High Contrast button is checked, uncheck it. Select Apply after unchecking the High Contrast button.
Q7. Cannot run the V300 software on compatible OS (Windows 8/7/ XP/ Vista)?
Please make sure that you have installed latest Windows updates.
Q8. Cannot login to the V300 software or it cannot connect with V300 device?
(1) Please make sure you have download correct application, please check HERE.
(2) Or please remove the application and reinstall it then try to login again.
Q9. Get the error message "Unhanded exception has occurred in a component in your application" or "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"?
Please reset the device to the factory setings.
(1) Turn off the V300 unit and press the "Mark Button" + "Left soft key" +"Power Key"simultaneously, see figure 1. Please do not release the buttons, until you have see figure 2.
(2) Select "Factory Reset" and press the "Select/Save" button, see figure 3. Once the reset has been completed(figure 4), press the "select/save" button to shut down the V300.
(3) After the reset is completed, please try to download the course again and see if you are able to download the course.
Q10. Get the error message "V300a has encountered a problem and needs to close"?
The internet connection environment could cause this problem.
Have you ever installed any additional firewall, computer security program and IP router? These programs could cause the data transmission between our server and your computer. Therefore, if yes, please try to disable them.
Besides, the internet connection at your work/office environment might cuase this issue too. Therefore, we suggest that you can install the V300 software on the other computer and in different internet environment, for example at your home place.
Q11. Cannot detect V300 device on the computer?
Please check if there is the "removable disk icon" shown on the system tray when you connect your V300 to computer using the USB and selecting the link option on the GPS. This is what the icon look like in the Windows XP (figure 1) and in Windows 7 (figure 2). If yes, please make sure that you have running the Sonocaddie V300 software as an administrator. Q12.Showing a red cross on the link symbol between PC and the USB unit? Get error message “Failed to connect Sonocaddie V300" when downloading a course?

Step 1. Make sure whether you have downloaded a right software version
(1)For device with S/N starting with “E5....”, please download “Sonocaddie V300a” software which has a green login page.
(2)For others, please download ”Sonocaddie V300” software, which has a blue login page.

Step 2. Check below for troubleshooting:
(1)Please make sure that you are running the software as an Administrator.
(2)Check if the computer has successfully detected the device as mass storage device (USB device), if not, please connect it with other    USB com port.
(3)Change a different USB cable if have one.
(4)Change other PC to check if it is the unit or PC issue.

Q13. How to request new courses, update courses or upload scorecards?
Please email mappingV300@sonocaddie.com with the course to map or update.
Q14. Get the error message "Your search did not match any course"?
When you search for a course on the Sonocaddie login page, you can simply enter country /state/ leave the city clear then enter the first four or five letters of the course you are looking for then select the GO button.We do not use the City feature. If you still cannot find the course, please email to mappingV300@sonocaddie.com for further assistance.
Q15. Cannot download more courses to V300 device?
(1) Please check your membership status first. Upgraded membership is required if you would like to download more countrywide or worldwide courses.
(2) Besides, please make sure you have installed the V300 software to download courses. If you would like to download thesoftware, you could press the link HERE.
(3) Please kindly note that the course storage in V300 is 30. You have to delete some when the memory is full.

The Sonocaddie handheld device, battery, and clip had been discontinued for many years, so we do not have any spare on stock. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Q18. I lost the V300 device, any method to trace it?
We are unable to trace the unit for you but we can block the S/N of it to avoid someone else registering the unit.
Q19. The USB cable is broken, how to get a replacement?
The Sonocaddie USB cable is a regular USB 2.0 cable .It is available at most 3C store.
Q20. V300 device shows "MEMORY FULL" on several occasions during the round?
Please delete the scorecard info in the Record function of the unit.
