Q1. How to check or update my membership information? (Please note that email/ country/ serial number are not changeable.)
(1) Please select the link HERE.
(2) Enter your email and password to log into your account. Follow the help options if you have forgotten your password.
(3) Press "EDIT" to update your login info. Please note that email/ country/ serial number cannot be changed only your password can be changed.
Q2. What can I do when I forget the password or want to change the password?

(2) Enter your email and password to log into your account. Follow the help options if you have forgotten your password.
Q3. Where can I upgrade my membership if I had the promo code card?
(1) Please select the link HERE to register with promo code.
(2) Enter your email and password to log into your account. Follow the options if you forgettem email/ password.
(3) Go to the bottom of this page, you will see the promo code enter blank. Please enter it to upgrade your membership.
*Notice: Sonocaddie product promo code is made for some certain advertising activates or stores in some areas. Each promo code can by only used one time.
Q4. How to set up the V500?

Q5. What can I do when I get the error message "SD card cannot be read"?
(1) Reinsert the SD card. The card is situated under the battery, you will find it after you remove the battery cover.
(2) If the problem can not be solved with option (1.) please try to FORMAT and RESET the device. Pressing the below three circled buttons similtaniously Power/ Lock/ Left buttons for 10 seconds or until you enter the "Test Mode", and please first select and run the format and then select and reset the device.

(3) After the reset is completed, the device will turn off automatically. Please turn on the unit to see if you can access the oreloaded courses now.
Q6. What can I do when my V500 cannot be charged, cannot last for a round or would freeze or shut down when play?
Please remove the battery, insert it in again at a 45 degree angle, push forward then down and be sure it sits under the lip of the V500 device. Then charge and check to see if the issue have been resolved. If the problem is still the same, please email vipservice@sonocaddie.com with your registered email account and unit serial number.
Q7. What can I do when I get the error message "Failed to Login V500"?
Please check if you have successfully installed the V500 driver in your computer. You can check the driver name on task manager by press "Ctrl+Alt+Del" to bring up and check if you can find “DLAgentV25.exe” on the list.
Or you can serch for the Sonocaddie V500 in your programs. Select start and check in the "All Programs"to see if it is installed. If you are still unable to get a connection, please check if your computer has installed a firewall, if yes, please temporary disable it. Note that some company firewalls will block the connection. A slow internet/speed connection might prevent the login as well. Please try to login later or try your home internet connection.
Q8. What can I do when I get the error message "Failed to connect. Red cross shown when login V500 device"?
Please make sure you are using the correct email and password and they are both case sensative. Or contact vipservice@sonocaddie.com if you have this problem.
Q9. What can I do when I get the error message "Your search did not match any course"?
When you search for a course on the Sonocaddie login page, you can simply enter country /state/ leave the city clear then enter the first four or five letters of the course you are looking for then select the GO button.We do not use the City feature. Or email mappingV500@sonocaddie.com if you still cannot find the course.
Q10. What can I do when I cannot download more worldwide courses, satellite or flyover mappings?
Please check your membership/ credits status. Course package (credit) is required if you would like to download worldwide courses or satellite/ flyover mappings. Please refer to V500 Membership Plan for more details.
Q11. How to request new courses, update courses or upload scorecards?
Please email mappingV500@sonocaddie.com with the course to map or update.

Q12. Why I can not download the course data?
(1) V500 driver must be installed before you use V500 first time. If you haven't installed driver yet, please install V500 driver at Support Page or via CD attached.
(2) Please check your connection of USB cable and internet accessible. Insert the mini-end of the supplied USB cable into the USB port of V500 and then connect the other end of the cable to the USB port on your computer (note: internet connection is required.)
(3) Please check your credits status. Course package (credit) is required if you would like to download the courses outside your country. Please refer to Member Page for more details. Your country course 3D colour layouts are free and can be downloaded by selecting the "Color Layout".

Q13. What do I do if the touch screen is not accurate?
Please select the "touch calibration" on the unit in the "Settings" and touch the centre of Cross Marks and select back to finsh calibrating the V500.
